My kiddos and I had a blast volunteering/helping cheer on participants on at the “Back To School 5K Run” with a Back to the 80’s Theme!
While the event has now passed, here were the details on what it was all about:

WHY: Per the event coordinators:
“Join us for this year’s Back to the 80’s “Back to School” 5k!
A race for everyone from competitive runners to casual walkers.
Get ready to head back to school as you travel back in time as we celebrate a decade of music, neon, and fashion!
Get your friends and family together and come out dressed in your best 80’s costume!
We will be collecting school supplies race morning to be donated to Hillsboro School District and a portion of the race proceeds will benefit Brenden’s Friday Backpack program!
All participants receive an event t-shirt, finisher’s medal, some 80’s swag, and goody bag!”
$30 Registration fee on or before July 24th.
$35 fee after July 24th.
