Authenticity

Authenticity Blog

There is a specific light and airy freedom that comes when we fully surrender to allow our actions to align with who we really want to be. With this release, a mental clarity ignites an inner energy to uplift our soul to create and cultivate.

When we refrain from seeking validation from external sources and seize the need to impress others, that incessant thinking, which often leads to insanity, calms down. It is within this calm mental stillness; a space is opened to invite genuine ideas to flow in for growth in our own way.

When we become aware of this process of becoming our true self, we can feel the pride that comes from our progress of making itty-bitty changes to our thoughts and behaviors to now shift to validate our inner intuition.

Are there shifts you can make to challenge yourself to simply set aside something you are currently doing, or not doing, that does not feel quite “right” to you?

Perhaps you can say no, or say yes?

Maybe you try to put down a thought or habit, or start a new one?

Could you be more intentional with something or someone…or less, and summon in some quiet?

What is your soul asking for?

Might you start a temporary experiment with yourself (and/or others) to measure if this matters to your mental wellbeing? You are worth it.

Our Festus, MO community wants you to feel authentically at-home here. We look forward to learning about your ideas.

These pictures were taken during my recent spring break, when I was tuning into my inner self, capturing images I found to be fascinating about aspects of the authentic Jamaican culture.

If any of this resonated with you, I invite you to share this with others.

As always, you are also encouraged to share your personal experiments and developments here. We all can benefit from feeling, and living, more free and real.
