“READY FOR OUR ANNOUNCEMENT?!
May we all share this as we connect with, and support, this team.
Check out my story from January of 2024 to learn more about this sweet concept/this location:
Last week my daughter wrote about her fun experience at teen karaoke night at The Green Room. While she was loving every itty-bitty musical moment there, my son and I loved spending special moments together for a rare mother-son night out. He was feeling creative, and craving a sweet treat. Tanglefoot Creamery was the perfect place for him to create a custom, tasty creation, while indulging in a sweet, cold treat.
Tanglefoot Creamery offers many cold, flavorful desserts, inviting you to be as creative, or as simple, as you want. While they are known for their special rolled ice cream, they also serve a variety of tasty ice cream creations.
Located at 1160 B East Gannon Drive in Festus, MO, Tanglefoot Creamery in the lower unit at the end of a two-story brick building, across the street from Dobbs Tire and Auto Center, by Members First Credit Union.
They have a clean, open, welcoming space with many tables to relax, interact, or create some art with the coloring books and crayons placed at many of the tables. This is fun amusement for all ages!
My son and I were amused to stand by the viewing window to watch how Ryleigh created his custom-rolled sweet treat. He requested to create his own custom review of his experience.
In his 9-year-old words:
“Hi, my name is Dayton and I am going to tell you how Tanglefoot Creamery was.
When you first walk in, there is a huge chalkboard sign with a bunch of flavors that you can pick.
They also serve ice cream nachos and ice cream cones.
It was cool how the rolled ice cream was made.
They put vanilla liquid ice cream sauce in the middle of a silver pan that is really cold.
The pan is so cold that it freezes instantly.
Then, they flatten it out and chop it up, adding a flavored sauce.
The lady making the ice cream chops up the ice cream with the mix-ins.
Then, she flattened it out, rolled it up, and put it in a bowl.
I got strawberry ice cream with Fruity Pebbles cereal mixed in it. I picked gummy bears on top.
It was really good. I really liked it, and I ate the whole thing!”
While my son is a bottomless pit when it comes to eating anything tasty, their serving size of the rolled ice cream was abundant, definitely enough for two people. However, is it really that fun to share when you can create your own custom sweet treat, picking any flavor, mix-in, and topping that you want!? Go for it!
This is a sweet, non-paid endorsement inviting you to stop into Tanglefoot Creamery to have fun creating, and consuming, your own custom treat as you experience the amusement of watching it all be made…just for you!
