Ohh the summer temperatures are elevating again in OurFESTUS area!
To elevate your outdoor adventures and COOL off, OurFAMILY recommends an itty-bitty drive to De Soto, Missouri. 
Located 15 miles southwest of Festus, the De Soto Park Complex North delivers on the fun!
It is parent and Dayton friendly! Check out what my 10-year-old son, Dayton, thinks about this cool hidden gem of a place:
“So I’ve been to many parks.
Some of them aren’t good and some are just good enough.
The DeSoto park and splash pad is one of the best parks I’ve ever been to.
First of all, it’s humongous.
It has a bunch of swings and it has a big playground.
It has multiple slides and it has an itty-bitty general store that kids can play at. Maybe they can pretend they are workers in a store? That would be very fun.
There is even a splash pad with rocks and levels to climb on. So, when it is hot and you want to cool down, just bring your swimsuit and then, boom!! …the splash pad will refresh you. That is also very fun.
There are also benches and tables in the shade where you can sit for a picnic or to watch your child.
In summary, it is all VERY FUN!”
