The leaves are falling and the coffee is calling your name right into The Corner Cup Micro Bakery, located on our charming and historic Festus/Crystal City Main Street. I say that because where they’re located is right where that transition happens between the two cities.
You can transition yourself right into a sweet and comforting, amazing space as you transition from the warmer temperatures into the cooler fall temperatures.
They have the most fun and flavorful way to transition your taste buds into feeling the most delightful, delicious fall flavors. My favorite way to try all of their fall flavors is through a flight.
Now, if you’re not familiar with what a flight is, most people know what a flight is for like a beer flight or a wine flight, but the sweet team at The Corner Cup Micro Bakery creates a flight out of a latte. So, it’s the espresso mixed with the milk and all the sweetness and all the goodness. They have different flavors for different times of the year.
Right now they have the fall flight, and it is only going to be available until early November. You can get these flights hot or cold/iced. They come with four different, itty-bitty little cups for you to sip and savor. You could share it with someone, you could have it on your own, you can decide what you want to do.
I was in recently and had my own flight.
I asked for a little customization and the sweet team was okay with doing it. I asked for decaf and for almond milk. I love this team. They are the sweetest and they were so curious as to what my favorite flavors were. I love them all. It was hard to pick a favorite, but if I did have to rank them, my order of ranking would be:
#4. The Cinnamon Apple Dumpling
#3. The Bee Sting, which does have a little bite to it! It’s kind of fun!
#2. The Pumpkin Custard. So good.
#1. The Bread Pudding. Ohhh! It was so delicious.
The one thing I would recommend is, if you’re someone like me who likes to take a lot of photos, maybe don’t take as long taking photos like I did because it wasn’t as hot when I went to drink it.
I met up with some friends who had a delicious bakery item, some sort of a cinnamon scone thing, and then they had a cappuccino and we were all raving about it. We were also raving about how cute it was in there.
They have new benches or these cute little loveseat things in front of their little faux fireplace. There’s all the cute little fall decor out with these little gnomes.
You can buy local honey there. You can also get tea and coffee to actually purchase to go.
There’s other things on their menu. They have bagels and tasty bakery items!
You can get really cool locally made products there like tumblers and t-shirts and there’s hats. I also happen to know Tricia, the owner of Homestead Imprints, who creates some of the products there and she is amazing.
This is a really cool place to, not only hang out to feel the sweet comfort of being in a local coffee shop, but it’s also a cool place to just know that you are able to support our local people and places by supporting them, and by supporting your sweet tooth and having some indulgent treats.
Whether it’s coffee or tea or some bakery items, or just grabbing some gifts to go for the holiday season, it’s a really awesome place. I love it. I also love the owner, Amanda.
This is a non-paid endorsement encouraging you to stop into The Corner Cup because the leaves are falling and the coffee is calling your name right in and you will love everything that they have to offer.
