Throughout this sweet summer, as my children and I are exploring and experiencing all there is to love in OurFESTUS area, we have intentional conversations about WHY we love specific people and places.
We also talk about how we can share and communicate our love to spread the word to help others feel this same kind of joy.
My daughter wanted to share her love for the Festus Public Library, in her own words:
“Hi, I’m Audrey and I’m 13 years old. I would like to share my review of the Festus Library.
I really love the library. I feel so calm and peaceful when I am there. I feel like I don’t want to leave.
My favorite part is that they have such a big section of books for my age. I recently checked out four books there:
“Love in English”
“Famous Last Words”
“I Kissed Shara Wheeler”
“Not if I Save You First”
I love them and recommend them. They are probably some of the best books I’ve ever read.
The library has such a cute little-kid section. Kids can read books, build Legos, and have a place to sit down to play.
They also have a bunch of DVDs you can check out, and a lot of magazines, too.
I also saw huge, oversized print books that looked really cool to me.
Well, I hope you visit the Festus Library, and you love it, like me!
