Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Many of us associate this Irish holiday with an aspect of “luck.”
Do you think you are lucky?
Do you think other people are luckier than you?
All of us have different definitions of what luck means, and how luck can come to us.
Perhaps it is correlated with the labels that we put on ourselves?
“Labels” can be good or bad, depending on how you view them.
If there is a label associated with a limiting belief, or some sort of toxic trait describing who or how someone is, wrapped up within their identity, that can be a harmful label.
This could look/feel like:
“I am/they are mean, dramatic, negative, bossy, controlling, inefficient, etc, etc….”
If there is a label associated with a positive identity, that can be a powerful label.
The two itty-bitty words that are the most powerful within the association of creating an identity are, “I AM.”
If we create “I AM” statements, that we truly believe, to label WHO we are, this could look/feel like:
I am kind.
I am calm.
I am powerful.
I am optimistic.
I am confident.
I am strong.
I am consistent.
I am efficient.
I am timely.
I am lucky.
I am ________ (you fill in the blank).
If we believe in the labels, within the identity of who we are, perhaps we can create our own luck?
Or, perhaps we will believe our own luck can be created with the identity we create?
If we truly believe everything happens FOR us, in a positive way, rather than to us/against us, in a negative way, perhaps more luck will come in?
Lucky you, it is up to you to decide what kind of label you want to identify with.
This is a non-paid endorsement inviting you to reflect on your own luck, and how you label yourself.
I am curious, what is your label of who you are within this chapter of your life?
I am lucky and blessed to live in our safe and thriving Festus-area community.
As always, I welcome and invite you to share your thoughts as you connect with others on social media. I believe we all have the power to support one another.
Wishing you a lucky day, and life.

Maybe the luck we are seeking is also seeking us?
