Having choices is an astounding thing.
When you have the ability to make a choice, it creates feelings of hope, revitalization, power, creativity, courage, and more. It is not only about knowing what choices and options are available, it is also about internalizing and actually believing that we can choose.
Local choice-advocate and thought-provoking community leader and senior care expert, Marie Stelling, believes in the power of choice. She encourages people of all ages to take action on making a choice. She has personal and professional experience of how powerful the awareness and action of choice is. Within believing in her own ability to choose, and by implementing action behind a choice, she empowers herself, and all who are blessed to be around her.
While it is not always easy to choose an action that is different, uncomfortable, or sometimes even scary, Marie invites people to be intentional with a choice that aligns with their desired outcome, with support.
On a personal level, she knew she wanted to be successful and create a positive life on her terms.
In order to do this, her mental energy needed to start with her choice to be intentional with how she showed up, giving it her all within her family relationships. This type of high level, optimistic frequency attracted the right people and opportunities into her professional life.
Marie chooses to have a positive, outgoing energy each day within her role as the Community Relations Director on the Autumn Ridge Residences team, and as a monumental pillar within our community. Marie chooses to volunteer with several local non-profit, impactful organizations to help the people who live and work within the Festus area.
Whether she is publicly sharing information and stories about the senior care industry, helping small businesses be visible, donating her time and energy by making cotton candy at fundraisers, or organizing events for people, of all ages, to have fun, Marie consistently inspires others to feel the empowerment of making a choice.
Marie’s motto is to, “Make the choice while you are still in the driver’s seat.”
Marie believes making choices to plant seeds now will have a beneficial harvest in one’s future, as well as bring peace of mind in the moment.
As it relates to the senior care world, Marie encourages people to be aware of how enriched a life could be by making the choice to live within a clean, compassionate, connected, and FUN senior living community. This hidden Herculaneum haven is far from the outdated, negative perception of a “nursing home.” The entire Autumn Ridge Residences team is intentional to make positive choices, always keeping the residents’ well-being at the forefront of their focus. They must be doing something right there, focusing on the right things, as many of the team members have been working at Autumn Ridge Residences for 18 to 20+ years!
Marie is proud to be on this dedicated team and looks forward to continuing to choose to build up the well-being of residents within Autumn Ridge Residences, as well as the residents within our community, by making intentional choices with her beliefs and actions.
