I call her “Marvelous Marie.” I am referring to the marvelous local celebrity, Marie Stelling, Community Relations Director at Autumn Ridge Residences. There are multiple reasons why she is so marvelous. Today, I want to shine the light on the time and energy she is devoting to connect people of all ages WHILE giving back to our community.
When she started at Autumn Ridge Residences, the world was recovering from the pandemic. Marie was seeking ways to connect seniors in OurFESTUS community again. Realizing that our community, as well as the Autumn Ridge community, loves children, she thought a marvelous way to connect everyone would be to create a fun event WHILE raising money for children in our area to have an inclusive, safe place to play…what a marvelous WIN-WIN-WIN!
Last year, in 2023, the Marvelous Marie created a well-attended, successful Car Show at Autumn Ridge Residences that raised $4,000 for Kade’s Playground. Check out all of these fantastic photos that the Marvelous Marie shared from last year’s event.
This year, the Marvelous Marie is at it again, devoting her time and energy coordinating all the details for yet another FUN Car Show at Autumn Ridge Residences to be held on Saturday, October 12th. This year, they have a goal to raise $10,000, again to benefit Kade’s Playground. OUR entire community is invited to attend, and/or help with donations or sponsorships.
