I am cracking myself up as I casually combine these words; however, that is how I felt throughout the evening last night as I was cracking up at the Spotlight Community Theatre’s dark comedy production of “Murder is on the Air” at the magical The Marquee on Main.
This was a dynamic and delicious dinner theatre event with Missouri-themed food from Crispy Edges.
There was an itty-bitty, yet impressive cast and crew who were all amusing and entertaining within their scripts, and with improv, as they engaged with audience members.
This was a family affair for the members of our family. Helping with the crew, my daughter loved assisting with the hair and makeup. As a hilarious audience member, my son brutally grilled each of the actors during the audience participation portion of the suspect interrogation.
It was as magical and memorable as any comedic murder mystery could be.
