Our Twin City Trick-or-Treating Tradition 

Traditions are nourishing, comforting, and can even be transformative. 

Traditions are certain rituals and connections within a moment of time. They provide memories to fondly hold onto, and create smiles of hope with anticipation for future participation. 

One transformative tradition that my children and I have created is attending the Twin City: Festus/Crystal City Main Street Trick-or-Treating event on the Saturday before Halloween. 

We transform ourselves into a different identity for the day and set out to have fun! 

This tradition has provided many spooky and silly memories for us to cherish.

It was a spooky, silly, and chilly day on our historic and charming Festus Main Street/Crystal City Bailey Road.

As always, we had a blast walking around, admiring all the impressive costumes on people and dogs!

Thank you to all the generous businesses who were handing out sweet treats.

We concluded our time downtown by warming up with a scrumptious meal at Main & Mill Brewing Company.

I love our fun community and continuing our Twin City Family Tradition.
