Yesterday was the last day of summer school for Festus students. I am grateful for the entire Festus R-VI School District who cultivated a fun, interactive and positive experience for our kiddos. My kids especially loved the field trips to the movie theater, bowling alley and SNOW CONES! Knowing they were having a blast…while out of the house…felt a little like paradise for the month of June. 
While my kids were soaking in some final friend moments on their last day of summer school, I was savoring time connecting with a new friend at The Corner Cup Micro Bakery.
