Reflective Reflections

Festus, MO reflections

Last week I wrote about Strong Outer Shells Covering Soft Inner Souls, as it relates to how we view others, especially when we perceive pain.

This week, I am reflecting on our own reflections of ourselves (which can be painful, too).Perhaps how we view others is a reflection of how we view ourselves?

Like looking into a body of water like a mirror, what does looking into another body/person reflect back to me?Perhaps when we see or judge others, we can become aware of a subconscious or conscious irritation or trigger?

Perhaps it is an opportunity to be curious about a painful wound within us?

Perhaps we need to heal and love our wound(s), in order to see the love within others?

Perhaps my reflections create awareness of an irritation or trigger that I do not feel I am worthy?

Perhaps I am that soft inner soul hiding and protecting myself with my strong outer shell?

Perhaps within our own reflective awarenesses, we can soften the judgments of ourselves, which will organically soften the judgments we have of others?

“When we can be the non-judgmental witness of our judgment, we can be free of the judgment.”

This is a non-paid endorsement inviting you to reflect on your reflections.

May you be gentle with your reflection to invite in curiosity and compassion if you become irritated or triggered by others.

Wishing you itty-bitty, positive perspective shifts, and big hugs, as you love and heal from within.
