Festus Soccer hosted a Soccer Camp last week. I wanted to provide some public praise to everyone who helped to make this a success! 
The Festus R-VI School District Tiger stadium/field/track/facility is top notch, so spacious and beautiful. It was the perfect space for children to play while parents or guardians sat on the bleachers or walked around the track. 
Despite the heat, my son had an absolute blast at this.
He loved the different learning stations and the final game day. He does not have a lot of soccer experience but everyone who worked with him was patient and encouraging. He also loved the snacks at the end!
He has participated in this camp in the past. Once again, I was impressed with the parents, teachers, students and coaches who collaborated to organize all details for this busy, yet beneficial program.
Today, Austin Burgert with the Festus Soccer Clinic sent a message thanking everyone for making the camp last week such a success. He also sent information about local youth soccer, stating, “registration for CYC is currently open and looking for players at all levels!”
