Waiting With The Scribble Game

Scribble Game

My teenage daughter, Audrey, is a very busy, active girl. She loves being ON THE GO… ALL.THE.TIME.

My 10-year-old son, Dayton, is active, but prefers to go with the flow and not have so many structured commitments. Perhaps that is because we are both trying to keep up with her schedule. Haha.

Due to this, he and I spend a lot of time taking and picking her up, following her around, and waiting for her shows and performances to start.

We try to make the most of our “waiting time” together by being creative and having a jovial energy.

Dayton thought of the “Scribble Game” and it is now our go-to waiting game.

Whether we are waiting for her, or are out to eat and waiting for our food to arrive, it is an amusing activity to make the time pass quickly.

Dayton wanted to explain it for you:

“Hi! My name is Dayton. I created a new, fun game for everyone to try. It is fun for all ages. You just need two people, or more, to play.

First, you need to find a piece of paper with a pen, or anything, to write on/with.

Second, the first person closes their eyes and draws a random scribble.

Next, the other person takes a turn to turn that scribble into an awesome drawing. It could be like Godzilla, or an octopus, or a dinosaur, or a ship, or anything that you want.

I love it because it increases curiosity, and it’s just so fun.

You can play it wherever you are.

I hope that you will play my new game called the “Scribble Game” and have fun.”

This is an itty-bitty, non-paid endorsement encouraging you to make the most of your pockets of time waiting to increase your curiosity and have fun.

Feel free to share this link with another/your circle, especially those who may be traveling or waiting on an active/busy sibling. Amusing games are fun at every age…and makes the wait time memorable.

What games do you like to play when you are waiting? Please share on social media!
