This morning, as I was drinking my coffee and looking out my kitchen window, I saw the most beautiful, pastel pink streaks in the sky. Knowing this scene would not last long, I stepped out on our deck to snap some pictures. I was relishing in the beauty, content and grateful for the sight.
Just as I turned to go back inside, I took a pivot turn to see a robust, coral color cloud, emerging in the distance. THAT was a view I could not see through my kitchen window.
It was pure artwork crafted by Mother Nature herself.
I didn’t know what I didn’t know, until I took a pivot turn.
I was not going outside in search of the grand view I ultimately discovered; however, it was there as an unexpected surprise for me to enjoy.
I reflect on this as example for a greater life lesson. We can always pivot and change our viewpoint of our environment, a situation and within our relations with others, and ourselves.
There is always a different perspective, if we are open to create an opportunity to pivot, holding space for awareness of an alternate outlook.
I invite you to be gentle with yourself and others. Take itty-bitty pivots as needed. You just never know what unknown view is waiting for you.
